The neatest "Salt Spring Community attitude" thing happened! I was driving by Embe and a young girl had herself stuck in the ditch at the back, she wasn't fr...om here and a bit upset understandably! She had BCAA so I called for her and was ON HOLD when low and behold Brandon from Johnson's Automotive pulled around the corner! He pulled right in and was happy to zip her out no charge. Now that's service! (Telepathic service at that!) I love this community

First things first amazingly no one was hurt. Crew put in an amazing effort this morning cleaning up a full size sprinter van which was broken into two pieces by impacting a tree. Van was wrapped completely around the tree which was removed by THOMAS BRAINERD and his bucket truck. Thank you so much, the clean up would not have been possible with out you. Thanks to Const. Hastey from the RCMP for handling the traffic on the bad corners of Lower Ganges at Booth Canal. And kudos to the young guys Brandon and Chris for taking control and getting the job done as quickly as possible.

To the hooligans running around cushion beddis and Stewart last night, then destroying another uninsured car, then calling us out at 1:30 in the morning to clean up your mess, and to make it better calling it in to BCAA. Don’t you guys worry when you call BCAA u need to leave your name and know I have it and so does everyone you woke up last night, and the best part we are working on an rcmp vehicle so they will now shortly to. Shouldn’t have woke us up

To anyone we jeopardized the ferry times for we are sorry we are just going from call to call we completely loose track of time we are not trying to make u miss ferry. After 10 or 12 hrs you forget to eat drink and exspecially what time ferry is. If this weather continues travel safe everyone it was a scarey one today

It still amazes me that people get stuck on major roads just get out of their car lock it up and walk away. Don't call for help or check in it's crazy. And what is more crazy is professional truck drivers like the Island Farms driver today to lazy to put his chains on the shut down the Island . I stop and tell him to chain up gives me every excuse I get mad he says fine I will. Big lie then proceeds to jacknife and cause more havoc. To all people waiting for us today this is why. This forced me to max out tow truck 5 times what it's rated for to get Ganges hill open today. Big shout out to Joe Lange from main road for prepping the area to even give me a chance to get him going. People don't leave your vehicle plows need to go thru and today ambulance couldn't get through because of this

Long night getting home at 4:00am 2 nights In a row tough wrecks 2 trucks 2 guys both nights. As much as I love making money don't like it at people's misfortune like this keep it safe on roads people road conditions are changing. Thanks to all the help from Hydro boys Fire and Police helping clean up this mess

This is what a long day looks like and when you need to admit your overmatched call in the big boys. Had an awesome day working with the Penninsula Towing boys many hours of clean up and that is one cool truck.

Well this weather ended the longest week at Johnson's Automotive Services in long memory. Shop is packed tow truck was backed up half a day. Thank god for the staff Don stepped up and held the fort down while we were in tow truck 24/7 and the emergence of Chris being a tow truck snow cowboy came in very handy and saved the day. I realized how treating my body like an amusement park ride for so many years is starting to hamper me but god it was fun. Keep it coming we are ready for anything now.

Over 30 cars two accidents towing marathon with the one Handed Brandon as the copilot which I couldn't have completed the day without. And this happens on one of the last calls thought it felt a little funny in my jacket. All in a day's work on Saltspring in the snow I quess
