Forgot your face mask at home? Don't worry, we've got you covered! While surrounding municipalities have already mandated the use of face coverings in public settings, Peterborough region has not as of this posting. To help everyone feel a little safer while shopping @ John's Valu-mart, I've decided to provide free temporary face masks (individually sealed in ziploc bags) for the near future to help us all transition towards face coverings in public settings being accepted ...as the new "normal". That being said, I highly encourage all shoppers to bring your own face coverings if you'd prefer. I've also implemented a store policy for my staff and vendors to wear face coverings while at work... it is simply the right thing to do for the health and safety of our community! You will not be turned away from my store if you do not have a mask (or cannot wear one for personal reasons), please feel free to take a mask from our sanitization station in the lobby to use while shopping. Please note, all social distancing measures that we've taken inside the store will be applicable to our garden centre ie. 6ft separation, ONLY DEBIT\CREDIT transactions (cash will have to come into the store to pay), limiting of customers inside the garden centre depending on how busy we are etc, etc....
