Attention Wawa, We are in need of your assistance, a customer lost a bag of groceries containing ground beef and sandwich meat yesterday afternoon on their way home. We have reviewed the video and discovered that it happened between here and their house. ... The customer is very upset as it was a large dollar amount ($40). I am hoping that someone in this honest town has found the misplaced bag and will drop it off at the store. I know this is a long shot, we are here to help a customer in need. Stay safe!

Tired of line ups? As recommended by Algoma public health, please limit your visits to the grocery store. Once a week, twice a week. We have seen an increase in daily visits with a handful of items. Even two visits a day with one or two items. ... Thank you to everyone for their patience. Ps. Plus remember to bring an umbrella when it rains.

Starting Friday July 17th 2020, it will be mandatory for staff and patrons to wear a mask or face covering while in store. We are not making these choices for you, but are complying with Algoma Health recommendations. Keeping our small community safe is our priority. A reminder for those who choose to not wear a mask due to health reasons or personal choice, please have someone shop for you at this time. ... Garden Centre Update Thanks to all for supporting our garden centre! We are empty, and will be closed for a couple days. Expecting another full truck early this week Bedding plants, veggies, herbs, tomato hanging baskets, strawberry hanging baskets, herb bowels, lettuce bowls, and flower hanging baskets are on the way!! I am sure every business that has remained open would appreciate this message to be communicated to all as well. *Please stop panic buying, buy only what you need for one week, and we will have lots for everyone.... *Do not shop more than once or twice a week, Stop coming in daily. Stop coming in more than once a day. *Please shop by yourself. Don't bring your kids, spouse, family or friends with you. There is a limited amount of people allowed in the store at one time. *We limit the amount of shoppers allowed in the store at one time for your safety and ours, the number changes all the time. *You will notice markers on the floor at the front end, this is to maintain a 6 foot distance between customers lined up at the registers. Also to give people a visual of the distance you should be maintaining in the aisles, and other areas of the store, including outside while waiting to enter. *Do not come to the store if you are feeling unwell. *Please take the time to read the posted signs. *Be kind and respectful. The best thing you can do to help, is to stay home. Please practice staying in and social distancing. I ask that all shoppers respect this request. Please pass this message along to your family, friends, and neighbours. We expect to receive our trucks as usual. Please be patient, while the staff restock our shelves, please do not ask for staff to look for items in the back as this slows down our ability to get carts of items out.
