Ahead of our next Lockdown Learning Series event next Wednesday, where we will be exploring the important topic of Caring for Individuals with Disabilities duri...ng the Pandemic, I wanted to tell the stories of a few of my patients whose families have generously volunteered to share their experiences to help raise awareness. At 18 years of age, Jack suffers from Autism and Williams Syndrome. After failing other conventional therapies, Jack was referred to me for cannabinoid therapy. Here, Jack’s mother discusses the challenges they’ve faced, Jack’s anxiety, high/lows, and his experience with cannabinoid therapy. We are truly grateful to be a part of Jack’s life and are so pleased with the progress he has been making. Outcomes like these are the reason why I’m so passionate about this field of medicine.
