This position is in response for high demand in COVID related work positions. Assist with sanitation/cleaning, entry screening. Security for closed locations, access control and more. Typical shifts are days and evenings from 4hrs to 12hrs long daily. Travel within Halifax/Dartmouth and HRM. Flexibility is key as these positions and work sites may change daily. Please note our hiring process takes a little longer than usual. We have gone virtual. COVID has had a huge impact on everyone, especially in the way we service our community. It goes beyond providing great security guards. It's about caring, loving and empathy for our community and clients. If you follow us you know we do things just a little differently when it comes to the level of servic...e we provide. We are constantly evolving. COVID has placed new demands and types of services required by our clients and we listened. Our screeners, non-licensed security and support staff positions will soon be seen in our new uniforms. Small modification to our logo replacing the red leaf with a blue heart. The new look provides our staff with a more welcoming presence over a police/military style security uniform. This division of non-licensed staff provides more employment opportunities and more services to our clients. The demand of these kinds of services has been increasing. We got it!! Bidding on a new contract against two national services and one of Nova Scotia biggest security providers. We are excited to announce that we are the new security service provider for Northwood Livemore. Way to go TEAM!!!

We are the only Security Service in our region using Silvertrac. This value added service available to our clients has proven to be essential and a key part of the level of service we provide. Below is an example of the analytics we can provide on what we find while on patrol. This same detail can be provided for maintenance and parking enforcement issues.

Hiring for part-time mobile patrol guard. Conducting mobile and foot patrols of commercial and industrial properties. Alarm response and parking enforcement The position is a hybrid position as you will also be providing operational support. Hours are Friday evenings,Saturday and Sunday Afternoon & evenings. Some hours may vary as needed. To qualify you must have a minimum of 9 years clean driving experience within Canada. Valid Nova Scotia driver's license. Previous experience in security is required.The latest you may end up working is until 2am, depending on operational requirements. Training will be provided. We are currently hiring for full-time position for security guard in long term care facility. Experience in health care security is an asset. 1-3 years security experience. Current shift opening is Monday to Friday 11pm to 7am. Other coverage may be required for emergencies or shift coverage. Strong command of the English language. Post secondary education in security or other law enforcement studies. Valid first aid. Position requires sitting, standing and patrolling for long periods, report writing, data entry, cctv monitoring. We offer benefits and employee discount programs.
