27 years ago we met and quickly became the best of friends. We have both lived in Parkridge Heights for 30 years, all of our children went to Vanway Elementary and College Heights Secondary. We both worked at PGI #3 back in the day. 8 years ago we had the opportunity to buy Jolley Market Foods. From day one it was and has ment much more than just owning a business., from Shoppers Food Mart to PGI#3 to Jolley Market Foods the store has been a huge part of the community, the... community we love, the friends and neighbours we cherish so much. Over the last 8 years I can’t even begin to tell you what it has ment to us to see many friends , neighbours and familiar faces on a daily basis. Catching up on life when you came in and having a good laugh or sometimes when needed, a hug. We watched out for the neighbourhood children because it’s what we have always done and it’s just what you do. We only tattled when we needed to lol which wasn’t often. Your children are pleasant, polite and a lot of fun when they come in , you guys are doing a great job. Watching them go from strollers to learning how to count money has been a pleasure. As you all know the construction has been very hard on us.so much so that there is no way we will be able to recoup the losses and carry on. John and Shelley Tymofichuk ( familiar faces) have offered to buy the store back and with heavy hearts we feel it’s best. We want you all to know how much we have appreciated your patronage, your loyalty and most of all your friendship over the last 8 years. So guys we’re here Friday and Saturday would love for you to come down and see us before we go. See more

So it’s back to school tomorrow, as you are all aware there is lots of construction in front of Parkridge Mall ( Jolley Market , Swag NGlam and Busy B’s Daycare) please do not use the mall parking lot in front or the shipping and receiving area out back to pick up or drop off your children, it becomes very congested and there is barely room for customers and deliveries. Thanks much
