We took our popular Breakfast Learning series on the road to Detroit last week at the Southfield Westin Hotel to an audience of VIPs. Drew Atkins kicked off the presentation with a primer on blockchain technology and showcased various real-world blockchain projects. Then, Jeremy Chan led the attendees through the often-neglected business considerations. Benny Cheung impressed the audience with the proof of concept MediBlock demo. Shown with live interactions via laptop and sm...artphones, showcasing how patients can grant access to their eHealth records to medical practitioners, at a granular level. The presentations were well received by enthusiastic invitees, and the event marked another success for our Breakfast Learning series. The Hyperledger meetup was a great success last night at MaRS Discovery District. Four presentations were delivered by knowledgeable speakers to a packed room of technical and business attendees from several industries. Our very own Andy Yang and Benny Cheung discussed why we work with Hyperledger, shared some real world Hyperledger blockchain use cases, and addressed audience questions. The meetup also included presentations by IBM, Healthchain + RoadLaunch. A big thank you to MaRS Discovery District for inviting us and putting this outstanding event together.
