Rather than bring home this Caribou shed I took some photos of it. It had been there so long that lichen was growing on it. This valley was actually on top of a mountain and thick with lichen. Perfect habitat for the migrating Caribou, and the wolves had a well worn trail for following the herds. It was an incredible experience up north in the Alpine Tundra. #alpine #alpinetundra #tundra #landscapephotography #caribou #wildlife #wildlifephotography #wildlifelandscape #lichen #naturephotography

Snow may be stressful to drive in but it sure is beautiful! Throwback Thursday to this image I took when I lived in the Fraser Valley. The iconic Mt Cheam. Photography tip: always look all around, especially right behind you. If I was just focused on the sunset I would have never seen this gorgeous alpen glow behind me. A lot of my landscape photos are from turning around or trying it from another perspective. #snow #mountains #snowymountains #alpenglow #landscapephotography #mtcheam #sunset #whitecappedmountains #snowisbeautiful

I love to photograph in the Autumn, such beautiful colours and scenery. Dramatic skies, crisp golden leaves and all shades of clouds. #autumn #fallcolors #blueskies #aspen #quakingaspen #ranch

The Alpine Tundra is an incredible place! No trees, lots of lichen, wild animals, constantly changing weather, deceiving distances, short growing season, it’s a beautiful wild place. Because of the late winter and wet spring we had this year there was plenty of water around. Unfortunately part of this photo was cropped but you can still see most of it. #wildlandscape #landscapephotography #alpine #mountains #mountainstream #wildflowers #northernbc

This year I was able to try documenting a sheep hunt in northern BC. It was a great experience and I learned a lot. I’ll be sharing more photos on this and my other pages. #adventurephotography #documentaryphotography #naturephotography #sheephunt #bowhunting #stonesheep #northernbc #mountains #wildlife #wildlifephotography #wildlifelandscapephotography
