Septic Tanks usually have 2 lids. It is always advised that both lids are dug up and ready for a content pump out. The incoming chamber from the house and the outgoing chamber to the weeping bed should both be pumped for best results. If you only have 1 lid ready for us....that is what we will pump for you BUT we prefer all tank lids are ready - Some tanks have Filters too - They should be cleaned at least once per year

Some Septic Tanks have Filters, with each Service Call, we always check the filter and give it a clean out. It's a good idea to check your filter once per year -- if you need assistance with that -- we can help.

Our office does not keep track of the location or the age of your homes septic tank. If you require historical records, please contact the Health Department of your local municipality, they may be able to assist. A septic tank is an important part of your home functioning. Make a map of your lids, take a photo, store these in your home information file. We are here to maintain your tank longevity by removing it's contents. Remember to check your tank filter.
