Dear members, we need volunteers to help us on Tuesdays of August 4th and 11th. You will help to deliver food hampers to families. The volunteering is from 1 to 4pm nd the work takes 1 to 2 hours only. If you are free on those days please contact us ASAP by replying to this post or by texting 7809933837. Please know that you will help in a noble cause and you will be rewarded in sha'a Allah. We encourage ladies to participate (the hampers are not heavy and you will be dealing mostly with ladies). A friendly reminder for those who are confirmed for coming to Canada Day event organized by Jordan Canadian Friendship society tomorrow Wednesday July 1 @12 PM in Hawlarek Park, we would like to remind you to bring your own chair with you if you can as well as any extra food items that you might donate for the food drive. We will be having a bin to drop off your food items in. All donated items will be delivered to multiple city organizations. Dear members, We would like to bring to your attention that the Jordanian Canadian Friendship Society in Edmonton (JCFS-Edmonton) has undertaken a mission to help any effort to support the communities in the city of Edmonton. We believe that it is our duty as citizens and as members in this society to support the city whenever we can, especially supporting their effort in helping newcomers and the needy families in Edmonton. To achieve this goal, we are pleased to inform our... members that we had contacted few organizations in the city who are working with newcomers, youth, and less fortunate families and expressed our willingness to volunteer to help them achieve their cause. One organization expressed their need for volunteers to deliver food hampers to families in different areas across the city. For this goal, we need many volunteers to collaborate with us. Each volunteer will be responsible to deliver the food hampers for a couple of hours between 1:00pm and 4:00pm every Tuesday in any week he/she is available in.
