Working with Imperial Sign Corporation has been so great, and it’s just the beginning of the sign replacement in Revelstoke. We are so happy they chose us to work alongside them for this tourism bc initiative! Many more new signage’s to come and this new REVELSTOKE sign is awesome, especially in the dark!!

I came across an article recently that shared Revelstoke’s top ten valued homes. It is so rewarding to see two of the homes we’ve built make this list. We are forever grateful to these homeowners and a GC who gave us such amazing opportunities to showcase our capabilities and build these stunning homes for them. The friendships we forged along the way are ones that will always be near and dear to our hearts.

We are beyond thrilled to present this gorgeous home for these wonderful people! Working with Curtis and Michelle has been such a wonderfully rewarding experience and we wish them nothing but the best as they embark on their dream of owning a beautiful bed and breakfast at the base of the ski hill. When we decided to build our future dream home, and business, in Revelstoke, we did our research on the builders in town and quickly came to the decision to use Jordan Cochrane Co...nstruction because of their reputation and previous builds. Although we had some initial challenges with water on our land, Jordan and his team were able to guide us through the process and gave us sound advice on tough decisions when it came to the build budget. We are so happy with the end result and the build quality. A Friend of a Friend - Part 33 -Jordan Cochrane Words & portraits by Bruno Long Photography Do you want me to take off my high vis vest? Jordan Cochrane asks ...as he sits down. Of course I tell him no and he visibly relaxes, more comfortable in his work clothes than having to dress up for this shoot. With work on his mind, I promise to get him to his work meeting in an hour. Before even asking the first question, I know Cochrane is a no-nonsense, hard-working and dedicated man. After hearing his story, it seems my instincts were spot on. Growing up as part of a hockey family in Kelowna, Cochrane first moved to town as a teenager to play for the Revelstoke Grizzlies. While playing 2 years for the club, he formed many bonds and friendships, none more important than meeting his future wife. When he turned 18, he began working construction jobs and soon found himself immersed in learning the trade, quickly starting his own framing company. When he and his wife had their first daughter, they moved back to Revelstoke to be closer to her family and Jordan continued to build his company. He has flourished in Revelstoke’s ever-expanding community and relishes both the chance to provide work for his employees, while also understand the responsibility of keeping them employed. Now as a father of two daughters and boss to 15 employees, he strives to find the balance needed to enjoy this mountain paradise. It quickly got very busy and it has been nice to taper back and find our happy medium as a company, he says. We want to find what is comfortable for us. As a husband and father, Cochrane has a growing family right at home. Yet he considers his employees to be extended family, something that means a lot to him as a provider of employment. Even further, he feels a connection to the entire community, even as he sees firsthand the changes of the growing housing development. When asked about this transition, he is quick to point out that not everything has changed. Sometimes when a city changes, the people change as well, he says. But you don’t get that here. It is such a pleasure working with so many amazing people and seeing their visions become a reality!! With clients from all over the globe this year and these uncertain times, our appreciation for the trust they have instilled in us is invaluable.
