Circus - to the vary heights of center-ring fame - to 1974, when she sold the dog act she'd been presenting in the shade of her career and took her final bow. In her day, Ringling billed Miss Herbert as the world's most daring rider. Her face graced circus lithographs and programs, including the 1934 cover of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey program.
