We are open. Hopefully for awhile. Same routine, walk-ins for Jo, and appointments for Irene. Must wear a mask, and sign in. We are allowed 5 people in the shop at a time, with distancing. Our hours are Tues. 10-5, Wed. 10-5, Thurs. 10- 5 later on Thurs with appointment, Fri. 10-5. Jo"s closed Sat., Sun. and Monday. Be nice to see you all.

Just to let everyone know, I got ahold of the township, and it was not the plow that hit the bench in front of the shop. So let's hope whoever did it got their frustrations out and they are real proud of themselves. Hope I didn't give them a bad haircut! LOL

I would like to thank everyone for their concern about the bench in front of the Barber Shop. From what I understand, the Lodwick family are going to replace it as it had a lot of sentimental value to them. But it was sure nice to see how much people do care. Thankyou to the people that offered to fix it or replace it, much appreciated. Someone mentioned that the plow did it, lets hope so, but you would think they would call me or report it. So once again, thankyou all from me and the Lodwick family, and I'm sure the many people that like to sit there for a rest. Harold would be proud of you all I'm sure.

I thought I had already posted this on here, but I can't seem to find it, so here goes. At some point this week someone, literally smashed my bench to pieces in front of my shop. The bench was donated to me by Harold Lodwick in memory of his Mom and Dad. We refurbished it again this summer, and I was very proud to have it, as Harold was a well respected man, and a wonderful person as anyone that knew him would agree. I felt honored that he chose my Barber Shop to give it too. Well, it will no longer be there, cannot be fixed, and I hope whoever done it, feels real proud of themselves. If anyone seen or heard this being done, I would so appreciate you letting me know. Pretty low form of life. Thankyou.

My 2021 New Year Wish For You

I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I would also like to thank everyone for all the love and support you have given me in this very trying year. Here's hoping that 2021 will be better for us all, and an end will come to this terrible virus. Please stay safe and healthy, and Irene and I will see you all in a month, God willing. xoxo

Had a complaint, that someone came into the Barber Shop and stood there for 20 minutes and was ignored. First of all I would like to say \I am so sorry, that is very rare for that to happen, as anyone that comes in knows. If this has ever happened to you, I would like to know about it so we can make sure it doesn't happen again,

Back to work and glad to be. Sure has been nice to see everyone. Some of you were really styling with your new doos! Things are running pretty much the same except for having to wait outside if there is a line-up. Tried appointments, didn't work, so we're back to first come basis. Please bring a mask with you. Happy to have seen some of you, and looking forward to seeing the rest.

Letting everyone know, that I will be opening on Tuesday. Things will be ran a bit different of coarse, but here"s hoping that it will only be for a little while. I will have to take appointments, and will maybe be able to take some walk-ins. I'm only allowed 2 people at a time in the shop and we both have to wear a mask. I will be asking a few questions when you come in, and if we are both patient I'm sure we will get through this and running smoothly in no time. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Hello everyone. Well I was told that Irene and I could go back to work on Friday. So I phoned the health department to find out any stipulations on opening and was told that we were not allowed to open because of the area we are in, maybe not for a couple more weeks. So in case you heard we could open and wonder why we are not, that is why. So here's hoping to see you in the near future. Stay safe.

Hi Everyone. Hope you are all well and keeping the hair out of your face. Been a long haul, and don't know yet when I can come back to work. But as soon as I know I will post it. I don't think things will be the same as they were, but we will get through it and get you all cleaned up as soon as we can. Miss you all and please stay safe. xo

Anybody want a haircut?????

So sad, too young. Going to miss him coming in for haircuts and riding around on, as him and I used to call it, his Harley. R.I.P. Neil. Good soul.

A few more weeks of being closed and most of Beaverton and area will look like Woodstock! Hang in there everybody and stay healthy, I'm sure there's a light at the end of this tunnel. Love and miss you all.

Hope everyone is ok, and enjoying this down time. Try not to think of it as an inconvenience, but a time to relax and slow down. Life has been moving along so fast and we all are constantly rushing, well it's to bad it took something so serious to slow us down, and I really hope you are all healthy, but just try and accept this time to recharge, enjoy your families and maybe even sit down at the dinner table together. Things will get better soon, and going through this hard time, we will be more prone to be happy with what we have and a better understanding of the people around us. Be good to each other and help when you can, Stay safe and see you back at the Barber Shop soon, miss you all, and my hugs! Please don't cut your own hair. Love you all. xoxo
