. I GUESS you can’t always eat steak for supper!!!. . This household LOVES Brussels Sprouts and this dish is one of our FAVS!!!. .... Who wouldn’t like sautéed sprouts in bacon fat with pumpkin seeds, our FAMOUS @gravelbourg_mustard garlic Dijon mustard, crispy bacon lardons and balsamic glaze!!!. . Doesn’t that sounds DELICIOUS?!!. . So I GUESS if I can’t eat steak EVERY day then this is a good replacement or side dish . . Enjoy your weekend my fellow foodies!!!. . . Been WORKING!!!. . With all this CRAZINESS of the lockdown and Covid Quarantines I haven’t been able to cook any Private Dinners... which TOTALLY sucks!!!. .... The one thing it has offered me though is to PRACTICE my craft and experiment with new food items for the menu!!!. . This little guy was brought on from a friend of mine that wanted to see a Vanilla Bean Cheesecake with Brûlée Sugar over top!!!. . Ddddaaaammmmnnnnnn... this cheesecake was good!!! Still in the experimental and practice stages to make it PERFECT!!!. . I’ll take the practice cheesecakes lol!!!. . Even if Covids got you down... look for the POSITIVE!!!. . As much as I would LOVE to be in peoples homes celebrating a birthday, an anniversary or heck just celebrating having friends and family over for a well deserved meal there’s always room for practice!!!. . . Throwback to when it was one of my Best Friends Bday!!!. . Some friendships are soul binding, their surpass distance and time... .... What I mean by this is we all have friends but there are some that you make over your life time that no MATTER how far apart you are or how long it’s been since you’ve seen each other... when you see each other again it’s like you never left!!!. . I’m GRATEFUL because I’ve been able to do this with LOTS of friends that are totally family to me... that no matter what, when we are with each other we’re like two peas in a pod... We’re Starsky and Hutch... We’re Batman and Robin... HECK were Pinky and the Brain!!! . . To FINALLY get to cook a BDAY meal for my best friend @lisasgreig and her hubby @rossneilsen was an old check off the list!!!. . Have I cooked for her before YES of course but it’s always extra special when you can for someone’s bday!!!. . Can’t wait to do this again for her or anyone!!!. . Getting to be a part of peoples celebrations makes my heart EXPLODE... Because from that time on, we’re part of a memory TOGETHER!!!. . Come on 2021... I love going in there for a healthy meal choice that tastes delicious!!!. . My MOTHER gifted me a bottle so I thought I’d try my hand at being the Edo Chef!!!. . It’s not quite the same but it definitely scratches the itch!!!. . If you haven’t gotten your bottle you NEED to go grab some... so FREAKING good!!!. . . It was your Birthday yesterday Baba!!!. . I hope you celebrated... I hope you laughed... I hope you heard a joke about your purple hair!!!. .... We all certainly miss you... Where is your Favourite place to eat!!!. . @tourism_regina and I are rounding the corner in episode number 5 of You Gotta Try This... and the feedback has been ASTOUNDING to say the least!!!. .... I ABSOLUTELY love bringing these amazing LOCAL places right here in the Queen City and there is so MANY more to bring!!!. . Let’s see... . FIRST we rocked out @bushwakkerbrewpub and their EXCELLENT Blackberry Mead!!!. . Second we went over to the @italianstardeli and CRUSHED some AMAZING Sammies!!! (Don’t FORGET you always get two... a road sammie and an eat at home or work sammie!!!). . Third we rolled over to @avenue_regina and tried their FAMOUS Beef Wellington!!! Still drooling over here!!! . . Then recently we strolled over to satisfy my SWEET tooth at the INCREDIBLE @queencity_cakes for Stuffed Cookies!!! And let me tell you I STILL dream of these!!! . . But where to NOW?!?. . I KNOW we have so many AWESOME, INCREDIBLE, DELIGHTFUL and Down right DELICIOUS places right here in the Queen City and TRUST me @tourism_regina @theburningbird and I have some AMAZING places coming up for you!!! . BUT!!!. . The one QUESTION I have to ask is!!!. . Where do YOU want us to visit? Is there a place special place that you HAVE to go to when your in Regina?
