Here we go again - we're having another event on Tuesday, March 24! Have you ever faced a life event and thought," Uh Oh - I have no idea how to handle this!" Come on out and listen to our guest speaker impart strategies to build resilience for when life gets "interesting"! Hope to see you there!

Well it took some time dealing with a few technical glitches, but we can finally share some pictures from our very first I Talk to Strangers evening last week. We had 2 dynamic speakers who challenged us to think about what it means to be resilient. We had a great group of friends and strangers, who all seemed more like friends by the time the evening was over! We'll be doing it all over again on March 24 so make plans to come out and bring a friend or two! Location: Failte Irish Pub,201 City Centre Dr, Mississauga from 7 - 9 pm.

So very proud of Hardy Steinke today, as he graduated from the York Entrepreneurial Development Institute (YEDI). He was the most natural and eloquent speaker of all (natch!)and represented us and our future plans so well. Connections and friendships have definitely been made through this amazing opportunity. JCC gives back in our community! A group of us had fun sorting food for Eden Food for Change and learning about food insecurity in Mississauga. A very worthwhile organization helping the community access Good Food for All! Check them out at edenffc.org.

Hi folks! for those who were not at the service yesterday, please note that in the interests of the environment and costs, we will be phasing out paper/styrofoam cups for coffee and tea. Please bring a spare mug from home that you can leave in our supply cupboard. We will wash them each week. If you have an extra one to spare for a guest, that would be great too. Thanks everyone!!!
