A weekend playing in the mud. Osmow is coming to us here in Grande Prairie in the new year, from what I heard (possibly not accurate), the first one in western Canada!

Q.R.F. Contracting Ltd.'s services are now booked for the remainder of the year. This results in no further scheduling of projects until the month of November to ensure we do not spread ourselves too thin. Cancellations will likely be used strategically to ensure we have a buffer zone for our existing schedule. Furthermore, we are experiencing some setbacks in our cabinet resurfacing department(tools out of order). Due to multiple pre-existing scheduled cabinet projects being on hold, we are no longer scheduling new cabinet resurfacing projects until the existing ones are completed when we resolve our set backs. We appreciate the mentions and recommendations and look forward to the new year for our future clients. We apologize for any inconveniences for both existing and potential clients that this may cause.

CAUTION EXISTING AND POTENTIAL CLIENTS; During these hard times everyone is pinching pennies. An influx in renovations are happening due to isolation and quarantine lifestyles. Since all of this I have been underbid on various different jobs by almost 55%. Though my rates have lowered as much as I can afford to there is no way I can compete with cutting them in half. This raises a few red flags and I always make sure to tell my clients that they may be interacting with non-pr...ofessionals. Due to the increasing job losses, people are picking up paint brushes and hammers and claiming they have been in the business for quite some time and provide "cheap quality work". Pictures attached demonstrate the kind of workmanship you could be getting for those really "cheap quality work" prices. FYI, the cost of fixing this to standard quality is NOT worth it. I strongly suggest hiring companies that have proof of workmanship via portfolios or reputation, your house or rental unit certainly does not deserve anything below standard quality and fair prices for both sides. Please share this post around to hopefully avoid this from happening to other people. Thank you.

Things are finally looking up. Big thanks for all the support, especially to my clients/friends that kept the jobs coming and understanding some of the set backs for the past 8 weeks.

I would like to personally apologize for the lack of performance and availability to all my clients/potential clients who were affected in this past week. Our dear therapy dog, friend and company mascot has unexpectedly been through emergency surgery and rushed to Edmonton for intensive care. He is now on the mend! Thank you for patience during this time and for the next week or so as we try to catch up with the previously scheduled work!
