Thank you to all of the families who took part in my Spring Break zoom art workshops at Journey Through the Arts this week! We ended the week this morning with over 50 kids participating in a free Cartooning workshop! I hope you all had as much fun as I did! Does the recent lockdown have you and your kids feeling down? Drawing and creating art has always made me feel happy- and so I thought I would spread some creative joy the only way I know how: by hosting a FREE CARTOONING ART WORKSHOP on zoom TOMORROW (Sunday, April 18) from 10:00-10:30. Yes... FREE! This art workshop is open to EVERYONE! So gather your pencils and your imaginations and get ready to laugh as we learn how to draw everything from cartoon animals to pizza-eating... monsters! I will not ask for any information except for the first name of who is participating so that I can keep track of the number of people registered Please feel free to share! This morning we were architects and designed houses for our bird friends! Thanks to all the kids who joined me on zoom! I have no doubt the birds will love their new cafe's!

Happy National Crayon Day! Kids... Join me after dinner TONIGHT on zoom from 7:00-7:30pm for a fun "How to Draw a Giraffe" art workshop for kids to honour this fun day! $5 per child. Email [email protected] for the zoom link. Registration accepted until 6:30 :) Lets beat this rainy day with some colour... and a giraffe!

Are your kids bored on the weekends during this latest lockdown? Do you want them to participate in some fun online drawing workshops? I am starting the JTTA IMAGINATION CLUB for kids 6 to 12 I will teach these online workshops live, online and step by step so that they can learn how to draw a whole bunch of fun creatures and learn different drawing techniques! Are you interested? I need some FEEDBACK first: I want to build this virtual art club to give parents a break and a...s a way for kids to use their imagination and have some fun! Please comment below with: 1) When on the weekends you would be interested 2) How long would you like these workshops to last? (30 min, 45 min, 1 hour) 3) Please ask your kids WHAT they would like to learn how to draw? Cats? Unicorns? Dragons? 4) Do you like Google Classroom? * All you need to have is a pencil, eraser, markers or pencil crayons AND your imagination! * Workshop Fee to be determined based on the length of the workshop- but I do what to make these workshops accessible and as affordable as possible. Did you know that tomorrow is National Crayon Day?!? YES!! Tomorrow!! March 31st. When I was little there was nothing better than getting a new box of crayons!! To celebrate this awesome day I am holding a special $5 kids zoom art workshop from 7:00-7:30 pm this Wednesday evening where we will learn how to draw a giraffe and then colour it in with... you guessed it.... CRAYONS!! Lets unwind after a busy day and draw and colour together. Colouring is a great way to relax and end the day. To register please message me here or email [email protected]
