Message from Jen Wasmund: It’s been an incredible decade at JOY. While this chapter is ending, I look forward to carrying the Joyful spirit to my next Acupuncture and TCM practice just down the hall at Cadence health services, my cool new work home. A huge thank you to my fellow practitioners and to our amazing community of patients for deepening my knowledge, opening my mind, and filling my heart. I have loved every minute and every belly! Dear loyal clients and friends, After 13 wonderful years, I have decided to close JOY Prenatal & Postnatal Massage Therapy. The doors at our W. Broadway clinic will officially close at the end of January 2018. My family will be relocating to the Sunshine Coast, with the hope to live a more balanced lifestyle. My gratitude abounds for the support, friendship, and loyalty demonstrated by all of my past and present JOY connections. Happy New Year! We would like to introduce our newest team member, Catalina Ferrari, RMT. Catalina graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. While in school she treated patients in the school clinic,... various outreach locations that included Royal Columbian Hospital, where she had the privilege of treating patients with normal and high-risk pregnancies. She is passionate about treating women during this exciting stage of life. Her goal is to use her massage skills to help facilitate the body’s healing process and to decrease the pain, discomfort and stress that women feel. She utilizes Swedish, myofascial, and rehabilitative techniques. Having worked in childcare, Catalina is experienced with infants and children as well. She grew up in Vancouver and lives a local, active lifestyle. See more
