The name Joy Infusion was inspired by my mother Joy. It is also my middle name. I lost her 4 years ago. It was the most devastating day of my life which I am sure anybody reading this who has lost a loved one can relate to. She had a joyful spirit full of love that still lives in on in all who knew her. ... During my grief, I found solace in beading. It was almost a therapeutic process for me. I still think about her every day but I find myself connecting more to the joyful memories than the sadness of loss. I guess that is what people mean when they say time heals. What does beading mean to you? Does anybody body else find it helps them through tough times? I know for some of my indigenous beader friends, it connects them to their heritage and history. Makes me wonder perhaps I have some beading ancestors!
