PASS Will Return To Hickory In 2021 With Twin Easter Bunny 150s NAPLES, ME (August 12) Officials from the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) announced today the first major additions to the 2021 motorsports calendar. The 15th and 16th Annual Easter Bunny 150s will both take place on in Easter weekend, 2021. This year's Easter Bunny 150 was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will now move to Friday, April 2, 2021, while the 2021 edition of the event will be the following ...day, Saturday, April 3. Both races will pay $5,000 to win and will be part of the reimagined 2021 PASS National Championship Series. This year has definitely thrown promoters across the country a lot of curveballs, but we've managed to adjust and make the most of it, said PASS President Tom Mayberry. "With today's announcement Super Late Model racers can be assured that the Easter Bunny will return in a big way in 2021. With the possibility to win $10,000, we hope we can bring the best racers out to Hickory as they start their run for the PASS National Championship." More details will be coming soon including a complete weekend schedule and support division details for the 2021 Easter Bunny weekend at Hickory Motor Speedway. In addition to Hickory and the Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway, more events will soon be announced concerning the 2021 PASS National Championship series for Super Late Models. Well the nose is purple again, I never would have thought there would be so much difference in quality from different wrap manufactures, we always used 3M 1080 but they discontinued the Matte purple so we found a purple made by Vivid, I can say we wont be using that again but it least it looks good from afar.

Weekend Race Recap- We ventured down the Southern National Motorsports Park for our first PRA Tour Race, During the winter we worked hard on a new a new set-up / front end geometry. Clare responded really well to any changes at the track and for the first time in a long time we had a car that was loose. After a number of changes we where able to get our times in the ballpark and qualified through in 12th. After the race started it only took about 20 laps for the car to get lo...ose, and with the first caution flying close to lap 60 we had used the RR up bad, after pitting we where able to get some of the drive back in but with the RR worn as much as it was it ended up being a rough run to the checkers. At the end of the day we brought the Old Smoke House, Stoneridge Specialty Insurance Chevrolet Camaro home in 10th place with no RR left to speak off. Thanks to everyone that helped out at home and on the road. I think we have some good notes on this new set-up moving forward. Hickory bound in a few weeks for our first CARS Tour Race. See more

Pro All Star Series Registered Drivers Surpasses 30 Naples, Maine -3/1/2020- With over two months to go before the first race of the 2020 season, the number of ...registered drivers for Pro All Star Series (Pass) North/National sits at 33. With an 18 race schedule starting with the Easer Bunny 150 on April 11th in Hickory North Carolina and culminating with the championship race at Seekonk October 24th, excitement is growing as the snow begins to melt away. Leading the charge is back to back champion DJ Shaw out of Center Conway, New Hampshire. Shaw has been perennial contender for the Pass championship over the past decade and hopes to make it three in a row and his fifth overall, to move 1 closer to 6-time champion Johnny Clark Hoping to put a stop to the Shaw reign will be New Hampshire’s Derek Griffith. The youngster from Hudson narrowly missed his first Pass North championship in 2019 by a scant 21 points and led the series with five season wins. Griffith does have the 2018 Pass National championship on his resume, showing he is more than capable of running up front week in and week out at a variety of different tracks. Turner’s Ben Rowe has had a rejuvenation of sorts over the last couple of years showing a lot of speed and finishing a not so distant third in the 2019 championship picture. The 51-time race winner and four-time north champion had 4 top 3 finishes in 2019, including three of them at home track Oxford Plains Speedway. Rowe is also a five-time National champion and has a wealth of experience and a seasoned crew behind his 2020 campaign. Perhaps the biggest wild card in the deck is teenager Gabe Brown. The 2018 Super Late Model Champion at Oxford Plains Speedway embarked on a full season of completion with Pass in 2019. Garnering five top 5’s and 11 top ten’s, the 17 year old driver showed he is more than capable of running at the front in one of the Northeast’s most competitive touring series. With a full season under his belt, Brown is sure to see victory lane in 2020 and contend for the title in his Shaw chassis. Ben Ashline came on strong at the end of 2019 in the P&A Racing number 99 Chevy. In five races Ashline scored a top five and a seventh place finish in the Oxford 250 before nailing down a popular victory at Lanier, Georgia in November. Ashline has long since showed speed in his various racing endeavors and as a Distance Racing employee, has learned how to adapt setups from track to track. Scoring a pair of victories last year was Vermont’s Nick Sweet and Maine’s Garret Hall. While neither driver has secured a Pass Championship as of yet in their young careers, eight career wins between them and a multitude of podium finishes show they should be considered threats on a weekly basis. Two-time Champion Travis Benjamin took a step back in the middle of the 2019 season after a slow start. The Petit Motorsports driver nailed down a weekly win at Oxford Plains before securing his third career Oxford 250 win. Benjamin scored 4 top finishes on the season and finished sixth in the season title hunt. 2020 looks to be a rebound year for the driver out of Morrill. Brandon Barker has stated his intent to run the entire North Schedule in 2020. With six top 10s in a limited schedule over the past two season, the youngster from Windham is poised to make a charge for his first Pass win. Add into the mix part time veteran drivers like Mike Rowe, Curtis Gerry, Mike Hopkins, Johnny Clark, and Eddie MacDonald along with new comers like Evan Hallstrom and Craig Weinstein and it doesn’t take long to realize picking a winner week in and week out may be difficult.
