HOWLING AT THE MOONLIGHT MOVIES! Moose Jaw Humane Society to benefit from upcoming outdoor movie events As the Moose Jaw Humane Society takes a summer holiday w...ith its more formal fundraising endeavours, the shelter is most grateful for the partnership with another great third-party event; the MJHS is pleased to be the charity of choice for Moonlight Movies’ upcoming August outdoor movie events. While Moonlight Movies has been holding outdoor shows at Besant Park throughout June and July, August will see three FREE movies on the 7th, 14th, and 28th of the month which will be held at Tourism Moose Jaw (corner of Thatcher Drive East and Highway #1). The films will start around 9:30 PM each night, and there will be an affordable cash concession on-site. Patrons are encouraged to bring canned food donations for the Moose Jaw Humane Society; there is currently an URGENT NEED FOR CANNED CAT FOOD. The public is asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. For movie titles and further information, please email [email protected] and an auto-generated response will reply with all the details. As well, Moonlight Movies has a Facebook page, www.facebook.com/skMoonlightMovies. The free admission is courtesy of the event’s sponsors, Casino Moose Jaw, Manicures and Pedicures by Amanda, Tim Hortons (Thatcher Drive), Barrett Tours, Tourism Moose Jaw, and the Burger Galaxy Grill.
