Signs are up :)
I put hubby to work today installing my new multiple backdrop wall unit..he did a fantastic job :)
Sneak peek of the inside of my new photography studio. I will have on display my antique camera collection as well as some old photographs. I am in the middle of writing a new book on the history of "Rice Family Photographers". During my research, I discovered one of the first photographers in Bridgetown was Joseph N. Rice who had a studio above the old monitor building. I have on display one of his photographs. Not only am I excited to open my own portrait studio, but I am also happy to share my collection which has sentimental ties to my love of history in this town. Even if you don't want your picture taken, I would be happy to give tours to those that just want to see my vintage collection. Many thanks to those that have donated antique cameras to me, they are loved and well taken care of
I am excited to let everyone know that I will be opening a photography studio at 4 Queen Street, Unit 3 in Bridgetown. Due to Covid, I will have to forego a grand opening but will happily give anyone a tour if asked. I will be booking appointments during the evenings and weekends only. I will officially open in the next week or two so stay tuned as I will be posting pictures and offering a Christmas portrait special. Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me to follow my dreams and not give up.
I will have some exciting news to share soon..stay tuned ;)
