Jacob Marlow on the REZULT: #Repost @lonniejmarlow As with every year, my inbox is full of questions about our new @elitearchery bows, specifically the Rezu...lt. So, I’ll give you a personal review of my experience with the bow so far. I’ve put in some time, not a ton, but enough to get an understanding of the feel of the bow, the new technology, and how I need to set it compared to my Victory X. Tuning: by far the easiest Elite I’ve ever tuned. The Asym Tri Track is a lot more of an even load compared to our older cam systems, which equates to not having a lot more forgiveness for our tears between shooters. If you can’t get that to work, the new SET pocket adjustment is super receptive, so I don’t foresee any one having a tuning issue. Speed: I haven’t personally shot mine through the chronograph, especially shooting indoor arrows, but at a 325 IBO most people shouldn’t have a problem reaching a reasonable speed. Set-up- this is where most of my time takes place, with just the general tinkering of a new bow. We have so much adjustment with the 1/4 dl and holding weights it’s super customizable to the shooter. I have mine on the 30.5 setting with the next to most holding weight setting. I’m using the same type of setup I have on the Victory X. With raising the holding weight of the bow compared to what I shot on the Victory X, I’m actually using the same weights on my stabilizers as I did with the Victory X, without that high let-off waggle when you get to full draw. I’m also using cable stops. The versatility of the bow is something we haven’t necessarily had in the past, and the bow is a shooter. I can bet that this will be in most, if not all, of our pro shooters hand.
