Well its Dec 28th... got a few pics this morning in middle Musquodoboit of a few deer in the frost ... antlers have dropped .. whos ready for sheds ??

We got a new visitor at the camp today :)

How many people give there dogs antlers to chew ? Not only are they great for their teeth ...they also use them as toys .

2020 deer season is a bit bittersweet ... After finally pushing myself to get my butt back in the woods and some encouragement from my better half I was able to take yet another great buck while having her with me ...took all of a little over an hr sit . And in the last few weeks doing some scouting at the new Camp and hunting spot I can't wait for 2021 already to come . So here is a little recap of my season.. and finishing it off with a nice walkabout into my new spot for next year and encountered a stare down with a young buck and another ..not sure what the second one was . We all have a beginning .. a story ... for me it started with my dad ..introducing me to the great outdoors ...and then me introducing my children to the great outdoors . I have raised them to respect and enjoy everything it has to offer . They have been involved in pretty much every endeavor I have tackled . They truely love the outdoors ...lets see your beginning ...and your story ... lets see some family pics ..of you and them in the outdoors .

The province of Nova Scotia as some of us know hold some magnificent Whitetails ... lets see some of them legends. If you got em ...share them with us ... these ones will have me shaking my head for years to come ....

There's a few things I have had the opportunity to experience over the past few years that I say have been complete adrenalin rushes like going in a den with 2 bears sleeping and then just recently calling this moose within 5 feet of me ... what an amazing opportunity to have such a great moose this close . Not only did I call just one in ....but I called 2 great bulls !!! What a great experience . Hope you find it as enjoyable as I did .
