As a photographer last year I had to get rid of my studio, that in it self was sad but it’s been over a year since I’ve been allowed to photograph in a studio. It’s been months since I’ve been allowed to photograph ppl at all, which I miss a lot. But what I miss the most is getting to capture everyone’s special moments and enjoying the energy it brings. My heart is absolutely breaking tonight hearing the news of the @thegarrickwpg closing because of covid. I’ve been the house photographer for almost 15 years and I truly loved it. I loved all the ppl I got to work and learn from. Of course getting to photograph all the amazing acts that have come thru. It’s a very sad day in the Winnipeg music community.
