So I finally got my own DJI Osmo Pocket a very specially thanks to my friend Meedu in Houston for sending me this as my Birthday Gift which was on December 25th. Thanks a lot homie. So I took the Osmo pocket for a spin in Karachi, Pakistan at Bahria Town. I started filming in late afternoon and it was heading towards sunset. I'm yet to test it in strong daylight but the shots in evening came out pretty amazing. The sky on the day of shoot was pretty awesome and the colors came out real nice. However I did some color grading as well to enhance the existing colors but no noise reduction is applied. The settings on my DJI Osmo Pocket were: 1080p, 25fps, 120fps (Only Fountain Shot. Rest is shot on 25fps) ISO and Exposure: Auto To my surprise the Osmo Pocket worked fine in low light situation. The blacks came out really nice. However it will not brighten up anything if there is no light source. Means if it's too dark it's just pitch black since the sensor is too small. But still from the ambient light it did pretty good job. I did some indoor shots at a movie theatre Bahria Town Cine Gold. Very royal kinna interior for a movie theatre. The cinematic shots came out real good in ambient light. I didn't shoot the footage on 120fps because I wanted to see how good the gimbal is with stabilization and trust me it is really good. However you need to get your ninja and cat walk game on point to avoid that typical Gimbal jump effect. I filmed few scenes from car while driving holding the gimbal in my hand. It is so compact that you can use osmo pocket while driving and that even holding steering with both hands. I will post more shots in detailed review. This video is just the cinematic test footage. Overall I think that DJI osmo pocket is a very hand and portable gimbal camera that fits your pocket and you can vlog and film some broll at places where people after seeing big cameras freak out and say you can film it with cell phones but not with Pro Cameras. Well here is the tiny little bug that can do the job with ease now while giving you high quality 4K 60p or 1080p 24,25,30,60 and 100/120 fps.
