Here we go again... Gunna take a bit of elbow grease, and some TLC, before we completely settle in. For now, we still have our Toronto shop. But we will be moved to the new shop April 1st, in Burlington. I will still be available for pick ups, and meetings around Toronto by appointment.
My newest employee.
Come see us this weekend!
I know one vendor that will be going above and beyond... Concierge style frag rack. If he will keep your coral in tank for the weekend, you will get a numbered token to match the location your frag was placed. Return the token, pick up your coral.
Been asked if we will be bringing frag racks to Greater Niagara Coral Show, proof that yes, we have done some laser cutting....
Whats in the box??
Vendor night at the Greater Niagara Coral Show
We will be a vendor again this year. Hope to be bringing some new products with us.
Along with the delivery of a massive sump, we also delivered a pair of custom mesh lids. These will keep any over adventurous fish, as well as any that may have studied finding Nemo, in the tank!
And the sump has finally been put into place! It was a tight fit (that was my fault) be we got it in! May have involved me climbing under the stand to pull it into the opening... This sump is a custom beast! Measuring 31" wide (most of my sumps are only this long!!!) 60" long, and 16" tall. I got to see the rock layout that will be used when the tank is put in place, and I can honestly say, I can't wait to go see the whole system up and running! There are some tangs in his current tank that are going to get a ton of swimming space soon!
Long over due, but water tight, and ready to go!
2 days of cleaning, out the window! But the beast of a sump has been trimmed up! Some final glueing (which isn't easy with this humidity) and a polish... then water testing. First picture; my shop floor, second picture is the pile of acrylic that came off me! Stupid static/sweat covered limbs!
Getting right into my work
Love when customers bring coffee and tim bits
Today's shop music; Love when YouTube helps me find new music, that is not on the radio being overplayed! Hope to have some down time one day - this would make decent gaming music too! https://youtu.be/v1wcg3Cs1x8
Well, this one will take two people to move it when it's finished!!! 30x60 sump. 1/2" material. This sump will outlast many hobbyists! But I believe it's going to a good long term home!
More lids being cut! Our mesh lets the light pass, but not your fish! Only thing more painful than the loss of an expensive fish, is having to explain it to your significant other! Especially if it was their favourite!
Today's project, polish a 3000 gallon cylindrical tank. [email protected] if you want to buy it. 8' diameter, 9' tall.
Product demonstration tank. Should help the company sell their Bath Bombs at the trade show. They were looking for a tank, we made them a large "tray". To help make their lives easier when its time to empty the water, we added a drain.
