I had the pleasure of marrying this delightful couple this afternoon in a local park, with their two witnesses. An onlooker clapped and even cried when I pronounced them husband and wife.
My first wedding since March - such an awesome couple in the groom's parents' backyard....he made this spectacular archway! I look forward to their renewal of vows May 2021!
I hear that some Ontario City Halls are issuing marriage licenses now....perhaps the wedding season will open again soon, although I doubt that there will be any BIG weddings for a long time. I will be so happy to get back 'into the groove'.....really miss officiating!
This is the last wedding for 2020 before Covid made it's entrance.....hope it's not the only one for the year!!!! Beautiful couple!
Love this affirmation!
This is a popular time of year for engagements and I'm sure the phone will start ringing in January for couples to book a consultation with me to plan their 2020/21 wedding.....I so look forward to meeting these happy people and collaborating with them to make their BIG day very special....I like to personalize each service....it's not A wedding, it's YOUR wedding!
Haven't had this happen but I did have a bride take a selfie the moment I pronounced them husband and wife!!
Just folded my husband's socks.....3 of them mismatched and of course, it's definitely my fault - LOL!
When you are baseball enthusiasts.... met through baseball, engaged with a ball which said marry me..... of course you get married right on a baseball diamond! Amy and Graham are such a fun couple and I know they will have more awesome times connected to baseball...... even their honeymoon will be at the World Series!
3 years ago I baptized this little beauty and today I baptized her little brother and his cousin. What fun! Great to see such an awesome family again and to see the 2nd generation - such happy kids! How lucky am I???
I think all ceremonies should start off with dancing. My groom is Hindu and it is a cultural tradition to ‘drum’ the groom in! Unfortunately no pictures of the bride as I got too busy but S looked gorgeous. J&S are an awesome couple.
This is how I end every wedding service....consciously choose to love each other and show it every day, no matter what!
In 17 wedding seasons, I've only taken 5 weddings indoors because of rain.....as of yesterday, I've now taken 5 1/4!! We ALMOST got through the service at Archeo Restaurant, in Distillery District, Toronto, in light rain but it started to get heavier, so we had to go inside for the signing of the register and my final words. Unfortunately, no pictures of C&Y but they sure looked wonderful.
3 weddings over the weekend.....only got pictures of one as Larry was with me and took them. P&E'S wedding was awesome....the setting in their own back yard with a bridge that Eric built for the occasion! It was one of the prettiest ever! So special to officiate for friends.
C&M got married at C's parents home on lovely Ridge Road......this young couple were sweethearts in Grade 9 and each went their own way until a couple of years ago....they are awesome together! Loved officiating for them!
I should have gone to the same hairdresser as the bride....the wind didn't get her locks! Loved officiating for L&S at the elegant Edgewater Mansion. L&S's story is awesome - S has 3 girls, L has 3 girls and they, together, have a little guy! Brady Bunch +!
Yesterday's wedding of M&M at the lovely Ravine Winery....it was very windy and the floral decoration fell down once the ceremony was finished (phew!). This is NOT M's bridal gown - she changed for the reception and the other gown was absolutely stunning! The other couple are K&S who I married 2 years ago - so great to see them again!
Another HOT wedding at the beautiful Chateau des Charmes Vineyard with K&D.....turns out K's Dad has known my sister, brother-in-law, nieces in Australia for over 60 years......with 8 billion people on this planet what are the chances I would get a referral to do this wedding. I've had the booking for over 18 months and we just discovered the connection on Wednesday at the rehearsal. I'm so happy for the connection and was thrilled to officiate for such a wonderful young couple.
No pictures of the bride and groom unfortunately, but this was the beautiful venue for yesterday's wedding at Belcroft Estate, Gilford. - lovely spot! Great HOT wedding! Love the favours for guests.
Had the pleasure of officiating for L&M on Saturday on the beautiful grounds of the Tamahaak Club in Ancaster. We avoided the rain!!! The bride was stunning and the groom handsome - wonderful fun couple!
