What's for Dinner? Hula-Hula Asian Pasta Salad 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts 1 Tbsp. olive oil Hula-Hula Hawaiian Seasoning Blend... 1 box (454 g) rotini pasta 2 carrots 1 bunch (about 4 cups) fresh spinach, coarsely chopped 1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped 1 jar (540 mL) mandarin oranges 4 green onions, chopped 1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted Dressing: 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/3 cup soy sauce 1/3 cup rice vinegar 1 tsp. sesame oil 3 Tbsp. white sugar 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1 Tbsp. Hula-Hula Hawaiian Seasoning Blend 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds, toasted Preheat oven to 425F. Rub chicken breasts with olive oil, place on a foil-lined baking sheet and sprinkle lightly with Hula-Hula Hawaiian Seasoning Blend. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165F. Cool and shred or finely dice. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add pasta, and cook according to package directions. Drain pasta, and rinse under cold water until cool. While the pasta is cooking, prepare the dressing. Combine vegetable oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, ginger, Hula-Hula Hawaiian Seasoning Blend, pepper, and sesame seeds in a jar or container. Place the lid on and shake until combined. Place cooled pasta in a large bowl. Using a vegetable peeler, discard the outer skin of your carrots and with the vegetable peeler, shred the carrots into ribbon-like pieces using the end of the carrot as a handle. Add carrots, spinach, chicken, red pepper, drained mandarin oranges and green onions to the large bowl with the cooled pasta. Just before serving, toss with desired amount of dressing and sliced almonds. #jbsunsetgourmet #asianpastasalad #makingmealtimeseasy
