Jumping on social media every morning and still seeing the folks still fighting the Covid conspiracies or the anti-maskers shaming others online.... AND the maskers and believers doing the same. I thought about the word Affinity a lot last night.. This was one of our lessons in one of my masterminds.. 2hrs and 15 minutes spent on the topic of Affinity and the role it plays in our life and business.... You have a responsibility to generate and emanate affinity to your teammates, clients, prospects, family, friends and humanity. If you are not getting the results you want in life or business (i.e. - getting affinity, wins, growth, gratitude), you are not emanating affinity. Period. Your affinity is contagious.. SO IS your resentment, frustration, fear, anger and depression. All of us go through periods of resentment, frustration, fear, anger and depression.. ALL OF US at one time or another, and 2020 well... I don't need to go there. Maybe we can all try a little fucking harder for the sake of humanity. [ #isayfuckalot ] I am sharing with you what we learned to spark a little something in some, just as it did with me. How to Generate & Emanate Affinity: Understand that both you AND others have a TON of mind trash Be mindful of the effect of your actions on others If you go to a gathering and you’re upset or feeling off - either don’t go, or at least fake affinity so others feel better around you Don’t give others a reason to dislike you Never be the source of hostility, resentment or antagonism - Don’t start shit Smile Be interested in others, it’s not about you Even if you don’t like the place you’re at, emanate affinity, it will allow you to grow Even if you’re right and they’re wrong - don’t cause a scene Ask yourself how can I make this experience awesome for the others that are hereNOT: why isn’t this what I want Care about others Be Playful I'd love to hear your thoughts #inittogether #bulletproof #mindsetmatters #wecanalldobetter
