What is Green Washing? Great question! Here is an example... Shared from a friend! SC Johnson has been hit with a class action lawsuit claiming that METHOD cleaning products contain harmful and toxic ingredients. SC Johnson company states that most consumers would be unable to identify these ingredients as potential toxins, meaning that they could be misled by the product packaging which touts the cleaners as non-toxic. Wow. Let’s just go ahead and call our consumer...s stupid shall we? Am I Shocked? Not. Even. Kind. Of. Do you use Method? I know so many that do and think it’s safe. There are many companies out there parading around saying they are green & safe for you and your family. Just take a few minutes to really look up the ingredients and you will be shocked what you find. Yes I know many of my friends see me post a lot and I get it it’s easy to turn your eyes and go on.... But this is why I share .... I became super passionate 2 years ago when I did my own research and couldn’t believe what I was finding green washing is a real thing and it’s happening more then ever those products that LOOK pretty aren’t so pretty when you actually read what’s in them and then when you find out they are harming you and your family ! That’s why I do what I do and I want to help YOU see that things aren’t what you think! You are going to begin to see more and more of these lawsuits pop up because they’re LYING and damaging families!!!! This is not the first and won’t be the last! Do yourself a favor and watch stink on Netflix to see why all of this is so important. This action is overdue. Clever marketing does not make chemical cleaners safe for families, pets and businesses. I am always appalled when I walk into and see the huge Green Cleaner sign - and see all the products.... that are not safe. Let’s hope this is one step further in tightening up misleading greenwashed marketing techniques.
