At the Feb 16 meeting of the GECDSB, the design for the new Jk-12 build on Jasperson Lane was approved without amendment. Next steps: on to the Ministry approval to go to tender, receiving and awarding a tender and fingers crossed, construction starts this summer. A long awaited project with prospects of a shovel in the ground within a few months.
As we welcome staff and students back to in person teaching and learning, let's wish them all happy healthy, safe and fun times together. Thanks to everyone: bus drivers, custodians, senior administration, teachers, support staff, school administration, office staff, plant & facility support, - EVERYONE who makes school happen on a daily basis. To everyone learning virtually: thank you to all the same folks, and the parent/guardians who make learning happen in all venues! #PublicEducationMatters
