Digging back into the summer archives now that slow season is upon us! Ariana and I crossed paths a few times at local Morgan/Arabian shows during our junior years, and again showing in the same division on the Atlantic Intercollegiate Equestrian League circuit on our respective university teams. When I walked into the barn on this day and she said to me I want photos trotting through that huge field I died and went to heaven. They are some of my favourite images of all time. I spent some time on Instagram stories last night talking about the direction I want my business to move in this year. My brand has developed a lot over the last six months and I’ve gotten a ton of people in front of my camera - some I didn’t know at all prior to them booking me, and some that I have known for years. This led me to two realizations: 1. Getting photos done is a very vulnerable experience for a lot of people. I know this myself. I’ve gotten photos done and had... my horses misbehave during the session, I’ve been called out on my tense fake smiles and worried about how they will turn out. 2. It is almost always the people I knew on a personal level prior to shooting that feel most comfortable in front of the camera. Going forward, I want to curate a high end product and experience that is still very PERSONAL. I don’t want to be the photographer you hire and never hear from again until the day of your session. I want to show up and for you to feel like we’re friends! Every booked portrait client this year will receive a welcome packet that goes over what to expect through the entire process, what to wear, how to prep your horse, and so much more. I’m also offering 24/7 support so that no questions go unanswered and so that any insecurities or worries are put at ease. , . We’re gonna have a great year, guys - excited for what is to come in 2021

HAPPY NEW YEAR! (I promise after this post we are back to our regularly scheduled programming of pony photos) I’ve gotten a lot of interest and questions about 2021 spring travel and bookings. While I can’t wait to get on the road again, it’s tough to say when the provincial borders will fully open back up and I will be able to get to see all your faces again. I am absolutely still booking, and those clients will receive first priority when it comes time to schedule out-of-NB trips. I anticipate 2021 to be a very busy year so if you want to be on my schedule, touch base with me sooner rather than later! I want to be able to work with as many of you as possible this year, and am working hard behind the scenes to build a one of a kind experience when you hire me
