A friend asked me about TM - Transcendental Meditation and it reminded of one of my life defining moments. * When I was in my late teens I went to a neighbourh...ood TM class. For as long as I could remember through the adversity of my childhood there had been a 2 syllable sound that I repeated to myself over and over. Don't know where it came from, all I know is that it brought me comfort. Like a warm blanket. * So during this TM class that day, one by one we were taken aside into a sacred space and "given a mantra", and the mantra I was given was this exact 2 syllable one I had never ever verbalized before. * When I heard it I felt an immense joy and peace in my bones.
