Looking to shop local? The store downstairs https://www.facebook.com/BKNaturalfoods is having a giant sale of 30% and up. There's some great gift ideas there including salt rock lamps, essential oils and diffusers, epsom salts and bubble bath, beeswax candles, organic teas, organic candies and lozenges for stocking stuffers. For the food lover / cook on your list they have honey, maple syrup, organic herbs and some sauces and oils. Trying to reduce your plastic use? They carry locally made shampoo and conditioner bars and natural soap bars. Not to mention the wide range of protein bars and powders, vitamins and supplements. So if you're in the neighbourhood or coming in for a treatment feel free to browse and shop downstairs! #supportlocal #shoplocal

Premier Ford has announced new lockdown restrictions for Toronto effective Mon Nov 23. Registered Massage Therapists have been given the notice from the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario that these new directives do not affect us at this time, so we may continue to practise with all covid protocols in place. I will update you as soon as possible should I hear of any changes. I'm very grateful that I'm able to keep working and will continue to take every possible preca...ution to keep us all safe, including... ->leaving a minimum of 30 minutes between appointments to allow the room to air -> disinfecting all surfaces before and after every appointment -> pre-screening you, and myself as well -> mandatory mask policy is still in place (FYI - I have extra disposable masks on hand. Let me know if you would like to replace your cloth mask for an easier-breathing disposable one during treatments, free of charge.) -> I've even added in some funky safety goggles for my eye protection, and am pretty sure I'll soon have a permanent indent on forehead from them -> On top of all that, I have limited my interactions with people outside of work (ie. basically Kevin and I just stay home with the cats all the time, aside from essential errands) My thoughts are with the small business owners in the city who are not able to operate during this time, or are operating with limited options. I hope we can all do whatever is within our means to support them at this time. If you're unsure of what you can do, reach out to your favourite shop, restaurant, cafe, artist, musician, perfomer, etc. and ask what they need. #bettertogether #supportsmallbusiness #letskeeptorontosafe #torontosmallbusiness

Hi Facebook friends! Online booking is available again for my existing clients! FYI - the company has had a name change and is now called Noterro (no longer Soap Vault). Anyone who already has a user account through my online system should be able to access it just as before. If you are a client of mine (ie. have seen me at any point in the past) but don't have a user account and would like to set one up, just let me know and I will send you an invite. And 75-minute appointments are available again!

Happy Friday everyone! Here's hoping your weekend is as relaxing as a cat getting massaged by piano keys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4t0I10eMoJU
