#flashcamfriday is a semi-weekly video series where I cover a track and invite viewers to sing along! It's #flashcamfriday! This week: a song about The TRUE Marvel Cinematic Universe. #trueMCU. Sure, NYC may have the Avengers, but Toronto has Jerry and his not-so-secret identity. Nowadays, Jer Bear is sneakily hiding his powers under the guise of a talk show host waiting for when his powers are needed to fend off evil once again. Now that I think of it, I hope this video doesn’t blow his cover. ... I’m sending this track on out to Graham Lindsey - TradHead! One day, our work-related conversation turned into a convo about Jerry O’Connell (as they do) and I was reminded of what is easily my favourite Toronto-based superpowers-related television serial. Local art doesn’t happen without local love! I mean, that’s obvious yeah? If people are putting together great music/theatre/visual art or other creative weirdness, and no one comes to check it out, then it’s all the more unlikely that more of that art will be created in the future. Supporting local art is more important than ever. Art fans have literally BILLIONS of choices for their eyes and ears via the internet.
