SUMMER CAMP AT KBK CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19 We always want to ensure that we make the right choice by our members and our community. Along with other community camp providers we are not going to be offering summer camp this summer. We wish circumstances were different but they are not so we are going to look at serving our community in a different way. One way we are working to serve the community, due to our decision to cancel our summer camp, is by offering academic coach...ing to students between grades 1 and 6 throughout the summer months. I know that many parents have expressed concerns about their children falling behind academically and to help we have brought together a team of awesome Bachelor or Education Certified Teachers to provide fun, supportive coaching in the areas of Math, French, Science, and Literacy/Reading. Dear Jung Do Academy/Kingston's Best Kids student and families, Jung Do Academy is more than a martial arts school; it's a family based program of which you are all members. Due to the rapid spread of COVID-19 and the recent closure of schools, attractions, stores, gyms and public institutions across Ontario, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our facility until April 5th, 202 for 3 weeks as recommended by our government. To date, we are not aware of a...ny of our staff, members or families who have tested positive for COVID-19 and we are going to do our part in keeping everyone safe. We believe that by taking this action to temporarily close and help stop the potential transmission is the right action to take as we view our program to be the home of tomorrow's leaders In the meantime, we will be taking our martial arts programs online so that our members may be able to work on curriculum and continue to progress towards their next belt. Please keep an eye out for more information on this initiative. We truly appreciate your understanding and humbly thank you for your continued support. Please take care of yourselves and your families and follow the advice of the medical experts during this time. Adversity is not the issue, it is what we do when we face it that makes the difference.
