I take specific interest in visceral work, scar tissue/ post-op treatments, shoulder injuries, and very recently working with juveniles. Strain and stress accumulates from a really young age! I truly believe that my patients well being is a collaborative effort that starts with you, and so I strive to always give functional and practical home-care that you can incorporate in your daily living. For leisure, I am intermediate-level skier, and a rookie boulderer. However, what I look forward to the most is spending time outdoors with my dog named Aso, either hiking or kayaking! Our hours for the week of Mar 15-20 are slightly different. We are open daily from 8:45 to 12:15 and again from 12:45-5:15. On April 1st, 2021 the rates for some services at the clinic will be adjusted. The rates are being adjusted to reflect the reality of the costs of business in 2021. Our plan was to change our rates effective March 2020, however, due to the COVID pandemic we chose to delay rate increases, as we did not want to increase costs on our patients at that time. Since then; cleaning costs, reduced capacity, closures, PPE supplies, other supplies, personnel expenses and cost of living ...have increased, some very significantly. We are changing our rates to directly cover these expenses, as well as, increase the rates to be consistent with our colleagues across Canada. We have also not increased some rates since opening in 2012, and many haven’t changed in 5 years. We appreciate your continued support of our small business. It's a big day here for us at Juniper Health. We our officially announcing our new team member Physiotherapist Andrea Comptour. Andrea is making the big move from Montreal in the new Year, and will start seeing patients in February or March (depending on the Covid situation). Hello Yellowknife, I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Andrea and I am an orthopaedic and pelvic floor physiotherapist by day. I will be joining the team at Juniper Health very soon and I am excited for this new opportunity and experience. I profoundly love what I do professionally and I hope that I will be able to transmit this to each one of you. My main goal is to help you regain your function and bring you back to the activities that you enjoy. I do that by carefully listening to your story, answering any questions you may have, and developing a personalized treatment plan with you.
