Hello everyone I kept this group open for a reason. Potentially in the works is a website for kids/baby accessories and a small line of clothing. This is not my... website but a close family members. I hated seeing my website that was ready to launch go to waste. I’m not sure the details but I will fill you in when they decide. I may join onboard eventually when things slow down for me. It’s been a tough few weeks.. I really miss my business but I’ve been busy doing other things. I’m focusing on my other business and taking book keeping courses right away. Thank you everyone for your kind words. It was a tough day yesterday. It’s like another loss in my life but I know it is best for me and my family. The memorie...s there are endless. I cherish them all. Especially the memories of my Mom and the joy that the store gave her. The friends she made.. and the passion she had when she was there . I am emotionally exhausted but I’m looking forward to the future and new adventures. I’m taking courses for bookkeeping. Tossing up a few other business ideas that do not require leasing store fronts. If any new retail businesses are opening I do have lots for sale in the lines of fixtures.. wall rack systems.. shelving.. floor units... hangers etc. inbox me if interested. Good Afternoon Everyone, Many of you have been asking and wondering about our store. It is with a sad and broken heart that effective today at 2:00 pm today af...ter 20 years in business Just Kidding will be closing doors permanently. I have struggled with this decision and after meeting with professionals that know numbers better than I do it is in my best interest to close. I am really sorry for the short notice but I was instructed to do it this way. I have tried and tried over and over again to keep going but it gets to a point where it affects your health... your family.. and finances... that you have to say it’s enough. I want to thank my customers for their support. I will miss many of you. I know I wasn’t there much but I did get to know many of you. I want to thank my staff Kathy, Esi, Kaitlin, Kristen and Chantal for everything. Especially Kathy.. 15 years working for me Closure is due to many factors: #1 ...being RENT... high cost as many know.. something needs to be done!!!!!! Rents need to be capped.. and I can foresee leases even going higher.. it is sad.. businesses are closing all around town. Please keep supporting the independent local shops.. Yvonne Lauren, Sprouting Fawn, Color me Pretty, Chocolates and Candlelight... etc I cannot stress enough how customer support is key into staying open in this downward economy. We never did recover since the fire.. it was really hard to fill the store with stock. I tried my hardest to keep up with requests but I couldn’t. I also have another business in town that requires my time and it is quite busy. I did not have a lot of time for my store.. I did the buying and ordering but Kathy and the ladies took care of it. This was another factor. All in all it boils down to expenses and economy. I shed many tears this past few weeks.. I wish it did not have to be this way. Thank you again for everything I know many of you loved my store as much as I did. I have many great memories that I will cherish forever I do ask that if comments are made please do not post anything negative.. this is really upsetting as it is...if anyone wants to discuss or post anything please inbox me.
