Well, add THIS to the "WTF-Files"!!! I am currently involved in, of all things, a Copyright Claim!!! There is a "company" by the name of "HAAWK For a 3rd Party" who has, somehow modified the details of three of my Original Songs on YouTube to show THEM as the "Copyright Owner"!!! I've (obviously!) started a Copyright Claim IMMEDIATELY in order to return the rightful Copyright Ownership back to ME!!! The most bizarre thing is, it seems they've, at least tried to, MONETIZE -MY- Music in an attempt to actually start making money from MY songs!!! According to a LOT of research on this last night, I've learned that there are similar claims against this "HAAWK For a 3rd Party", to the tune of OVER "90k" people!!! Hucksters, Frauds, Hackers & Fiends...I don't know WHAT to think!!!

Hm. This is interesting... A few years ago I recorded an original song ("Gee" 2008) on my tablet in order to put it up on YouTube. The sound was so bad, with the out-of-tune piano making it worse, not to mention you could barely HEAR it much at all... Last night, I was 'remixing\remastering' it so you CAN hear it (It's up now, go listen for yourself! - sorry, couldn't do anything about the out-of-tune piano), but the interesting part was when (just for the hell of it) I thre...w an audio recording of the piano part I had recorded much later, in my Studio, on top of the video... To be clear and in the spirit of full disclosure, the 'intro' to this song was\is 'free-time' (no click\metronome, no discernable tempo, speeding up, slowing down, just...playing freely!)...y'know for 'feel'... Here's the thing! When I added the NEW part I recorded recently (years later!), the audio and the video were PERFECTLY synchronized!!! I could've just muted the (terrible) audio quality version from the video, and added the pristine piano sounds of the new recording!!! HaZAAH!!! Until the song got to the part where I started singing...(remember, in the original, there was no guiding 'click-track' or metronome) then all bets were off...in the video I was playing juuust 'that much' slower than the new audio. ARGH!!! Guess I'm back at square one again! Back to the recording deck!!! Okay, you MAY not find it 'interesting' per se, I just find it kind of fascinating that my 'free-time' playing of that song hasn't changed even the tiniest bit after so many years!!! It's almost creepy... LOL... Annnyway...enjoy your day and, as always, Stay Tuned!!!
