Had a follow-up with my surgeon today and everything is going along perfect. I can now start to put my foot on the ground.

Update: surgery went really good! Now the healing begins. Just waiting for the freezing to subside and the pain to set in

Just got a phone call from the foot surgeon and she is having trouble with a piece of equipment here in Guelph. So, now I have to go to the Waterloo Foot Clinic and have it done. They also changed the date from Thursday March 25 to Wednesday March 24 at 2:15 Now I have to cancel my clients who were booked on the 24th

I am sorry for any inconveniences this may cause.

UPDATE: my client has had an x-ray and Catscan and everything is good. She is back home (guarantee she made that decision ). Her family called me to let me know she is good. She doesn't remember falling in the tub though. This lady is tiny but very tough (used to be a farmer) and to be 95 yrs old and sharp as a tack, she gets to decide what she wants. I will call her tomorrow and chat with her Had to call 911 for a 95 yr old client of mine. Days like this makes my heart s...ink when I go to a clients home and they don't answer the door. She lives in an apartment and thank goodness people that live in the building know me. A lady allowed me to go into the building so I could go to my clients apartment. I knock on the door and all I can hear was my poor client screaming "Help me Help me!" Her door was unlocked and I ran into the apartment, found her and called 911. She is okay. I was scheduled to pick her up at 1pm and she said she's been calling for help since 11:30. She fell in her bathtub and banged her head. See more

A wonderful woman passed away yesterday R.I.P. Betty you were an elegant, proper lady and you will be missed. We had many talks and chuckles while driving around. My condolences to her family on her passing.

I don't know how much more my heart can take honestly R.I.P. Colin you sir were such a kind quiet gentleman with a smile from ear to ear. Colin is the husband of Janette who passed away in June and this couple were with me a few times a week and I got to know them very well. I feel like I have loss a piece of my heart. ... Janette and Colin are reunited and I hope you're both at peace now.

Another client has passed away, this is #20 since Covid started R.I.P. Julia, you were a lovely lady who always saw the best in everyone. You will be missed by your volunteer family at the hospital, by those at the Evergreen Centre and by Pauline and myself. May your next journey bring you peace.

I received a phone call this morning from a very tearful client letting me know her husband passed away last night All I could do was listen to her sadness and give her my condolences. It breaks my heart to hear the cry of heartbreak . R.I.P Al may you now be free from pain and suffering. He was a very gentle soul and very gracious when he rode with us.
