Hi everyone! With back to school around the corner, we wanted to put out a reminder about our COVID-19 protocols. We are still recommending and running on appointments as we cant have much of a waiting room, and our capacity is limited. We also ask that you come alone for your appointments. We understand that with children, they may need a parent present, but please just one parent and no siblings unless they too are getting a service done. At this time, masks aren’t required by clients. However, if you wanted to wear one, you’re more than welcome! All we ask is that your masks go around your ears and not the back of your head. If the protocols change, we will be letting you all know!

We are just 3 short days from being open again! YAY! We did just wanna mention a few things as we all prepare for fabulous hair. The first thing would be that we are starting to book up, so if you're wanting to make an appointment I wouldn't waste any time. Message us to arrange details. We are trying to limit the amount of traffic in and out of the door at one time so we are asking that when you arrive for your appointment that you wait outside and call us, we will let y...ou know when we are ready. If you don't have an appointment, we are still taking "walk-ins" except we ask that instead of walking in to check in you wait outside and call us. We also ask that only those receiving services come in, so please don't bring anyone in with you, and only bring your essential items (money, keys, phone). We also ask that upon entry you either wash or sanitize your hands. We will have soap and hand sanitizer available for you. Masks will be essential for staff. We are not requiring masks for clients with the exception of if you're receiving a longer service or if your service requires a blow-drier. Without both clients and staff wearing masks we will not be able to provide chemical or blow-drier services. We will also be asking that no one but staff handles products, we would be happy to help with any and all retail needs! We will also be putting some tape on our floor to help show 6 feet around high traffic areas, such as the front desk and stations. We are also going to be taking time between clients to clean, disinfect everything, including all high touch surfaces (debit machines, stations, door handles, etc.) on top of normal salon cleaning practices. We have all removed all high touch items that we cant clean such as books. We can't wait to see all your beautiful faces!

We at Just Cuts South have decided we will open on May 25! Due to the new government guidelines, we have had to make some changes to how we run and how we make appointments. Until the 25th we will not be in the shop to answer phone calls so please message us in the meantime. We do also ask that you come alone to your appointments and bring in the only essential items. Masks are required for staff and are recommended, but not required for clients unless your service requires the use of a blow-drier, or if you are requiring a longer service (colours & perms) then they will be required. Dear all missed clients, We have received the green light from the Alberta government to op on May 14th! However, we are still waiting for all of our back-ordered PPE to arrive. Due to not having that in our hands yet we will be unable to open until they get here. We are not sure how long that will take but we are hoping not very long. We will keep you posted with any and all information we get as we get it. We will also be making some changes around the shop to make sure the health and safety of our staff and clients are the topmost priority.

As most of you have heard the government has made a plan to re launch the Alberta economy. They’re saying stage one could happen as early as May 14th and could include hair salons. We are doing our very best to put new plans in place to keep our staff and clients safe. We are waiting until we have more confirmation about the new regulations for salons before we start taking clients again. Please be patient with us as we work things out. We will keep you all up to date with what we know and when we know it. Until then, be safe! We miss you all.
