RIVERDALE Ok my last piece for my romantic series I wanted it to contrast my second piece in terms of lighting. I tried to capture that early morning rumble in bed feel. More importantly I decided to draw a #polyamorous throuple. So I decided to draw #Betty #Archie and #Veronica because I feel like the show not only let me down in terms of one of the most iconic love triangles but also missed an opportunity to be progressive. MOONFLOW I'm diving in, fully embracing the romantic theme. So I wanted to draw the scene #Tidus and #Yuna kiss in the waters of the moon flow. And the scene has this playful capricious and tenderness but I wanted to portray passion and desire. Like, come on they are two teenagers comforting each other during a really difficult time. I loved #FinalFantasy X I felt there was such a reward in playing a game and earning a story, I had some people, including a teacher make fun of me for wasting my time but they'll never know and I'm ok with that. #JusTiniArt

I am pretty proud to announce I have my art on the cover of @carfacsask 's newsletter this issue. I exchanged some emails with a fellow Metis artist, @sarah_r_timewell and we discussed our experiences regarding motherhood. Please give it a read! Archetypical is my most recent art piece. I began creating this piece a few years ago to submit for the alley doors in Regina’s Downtown Business District but it wasn’t accepted. I couldn’t let go of the concept though so it sat unf...inished for quite some time.When presented its the opportunity for this article it was the perfect opportunity to revitalize this piece and finish it. I wanted to explore identity by visually capturing the romanticizing of motherhood, indigenous culture and even my own Wiccan upbringing. If you notice, I am wearing the dress worn by Pocahontas in the Disney animation. The shawl is blue to tie this piece with the Virgin Mary & Child and there are crystals that frame the piece represent not only those Wiccan and magical beliefs, but also crystals in dreams represent something in your life being recognized as being perfect. I have found motherhood can cause a reflection on identity, but also the expectations and archetypes attached to one’s identity. #JusTiniArt @ Regina, Saskatchewan
