DEAD. Lavender refresh for thus beauty!!! Partial babylights and $ piece, toned with #guytangmydentity #lavenderlust straight up (it’s gorgeous) and melted with #kenra 6NUA.

Colour change! First time meeting this beauty! She had been hovering in the orange zone for a couple years on her way to blonde (ie- it would return to it after her toner washed out). Today we went for the jump. Prelightened her mids and ends using Matrix Light Master with bonder and 30vol, then washed out and blowdried and started the actual process- full head babylights and panels pretoned with 1:1 shadesEQ 9V and 9P, and then 10B to bring it together. Then root tapped with 3N. I always worry about toner grab and fallout with big colour changes involving a lot of lightening in one session, so I’ll bring her back in in a week for one more quick round of toner to further ash out her mids and ends, but I was suuuuper happy with her result!!!

Last of the week! Full and natural after her maintenance appt for her @bombayhair tape-ins! Sunshine time!

On our way back to blonde and LOVING her result! Especially for a first sesh! (swipe for before). Full head of VERY finely sectioned babylights (her head weighed about 10lbs with all the foil haha) toned with 1:1 #kenra 10B and 8B, and root tapped with 4N. Beige beauty say what?

The skies were blah today, but this hair was EVERYTHING! Full head of finely sectioned babylights and a lil’ money piece toned with #wella 9/03 and root tapped with 6N. Gah. I’m obsessed.

I die We did this colour on her back on January 27, and I was FLOORED how good it still looked when she came in for tape-in maintenance today! No need to refresh the extension colour, just her own hair (which also held the colour amazingly well), using my dream direct dye emerald: 2:1 #joicointensity peacock green and yellow. Just love.

Last colour of the week and it’s a ray of warm sunshine! Root retouch (8NN) and pulled through some sections to add dimension as her mids and ends were getting a little too solid- J’adore

I was SO EXCITED this client was coming in for a morning appt today! (yes, I’m working Easter, what else is there to do? ) Anyway, we changed her colour back in early Feb and I was DROOLING over the seamless result. But the stupid ring lit photos were awful, as we always do her hair at night (swipe to see what was posted last time). So glad you guys finally get to see what we did! Maintenance appt with her 3 packs (she’s got a TON of hair) of 22 custom coloured @bombayhair extensions. MEOW!

The wind was FIERCE today, but hey, so was this hair First time meeting this beauty- her haircolour was already quite lovely, just a bit grown out- so we refreshed and next levelled it by adding in some lighter beige pieces to the root and then melted it all together. I was obsessed!!

When someone asks how often they should be re-doing the lightening on a melted look I usually answer with 6 months- you could literally grow it out. Here’s an example- just roots and a tone yesterday, but we did this paint job back in JULY 2019 and it STILL looks great! And happy birthday to this beauty!!

If you’ve ever asked me as a part-time ‘bangs wearer to cut them back in in the summer, you’ve likely heard me say let’s wait until the fall- bangs look great with sweaters. Well, it’s sweater season ladies! Just a cut today, but adding in some curtain bangs and fresh layers, and it’s a whole new look!!!

Toffee dreams! Do you think we got this with balayage or tape-in extensions? If you can’t tell, does it matter? Loved this look from yesterday!

The sky may be getting darker, but your hair doesn’t have to- I actually encourage the opposite! Partial heavy head of babylights toned with #kenra 10Sm with a few root melt pieces of 5NUA in between for dimension and a little side lavender pop for fun. Finished with a heavily layered haircut (she has a TON of hair) and voila!

Just roots/toner/cut today, but can we take a sec to love up on this balayage turned ombre we did almost FOURTEEN MONTHS AGO? There’s a reason I love em! Seamless grow out and different looks as they age! See you all Wednesday for another week of fall makeovers!

We did her previous balayage almost 8 months ago, (which still looked good, just a bit too dull and grown out-swipe for before), so it was time for a lift! Full head panel foils toned with #kenra 10Sm, shadowed with 5NUA, and added a little lavender peekaboo for a bit of fun!

Lighter, brighter, but keeping dimension! First time meeting this beauty, and what a fun appt of great chats! :) She was already a blonde and a natural level 7, just a bit solid and a touch brassy (swipe for before), so we broke it up doing a heavy-handed set of 2:1 highlights to lowlights (lowlight was 1:1 #loreal 7N and 7.1). Blonde was then toned with #kenra 10Sm and root was shadowed with the lowlight formula. Loved the result!

Full paint combo of balayage, panels and teasylights toned with 1:1 8N and 8B and melted with 1:1 3N and 5NUA (all #kenra)- finished with a shaggy lob and some curtain bangs- LOVE.

Love a little half and half before and after! Hadnt seen this client since February after many months in the sun! Amazing what a repaint roots/melt and a toner can do!

My aesthetic has always been to have your brightest and boldest hair in fall/winter, which is the opposite of some.... I guess I figure living in Vancouver- since it’s so grey and rainy, and we all wear so much black and grey, why not let your hair lighten you up? This client had let her previous balayage (and first time colouring her hair!) grow out for 18 months, and today we went for it and she left a blonde! (before pic is from a couple months ago when we cut her hair- still so pretty!) What character do YOU feel like being this fall/winter?

OBSESSED OBSESSED OBSESSED!!!!! We were working off a partial head of pastel pink babylights we put in a couple months back, but today we went for it- full head of a heavy handed balayage/babylights/slicing combo toned with 1 tube #matrix #socolorcult in bubblegum pink combined with 1/4 tube #joicointensity in pewter (to cool it down) and a little bit of conditioner. Roots were melted with #kenra 6NUA. Just swoon.

She came in blonde, and we dipped into fall colours for this beauty last week! A lot of my extension clients have an extra pack of hair in another colour so we can change things up throughout the year! For this round we added in a few face framing highlights (toned with #kenra 8B) and then did her root and a reverse balayage with 5NUA- toned her blonde @bombayhair tape-in extensions to match and added in some lowlights with her darker set (colour 2). Voila! Still have some time on the books this week, hit me up!!!
