I honestly didn’t think it was going to happen but we got some exciting news on Friday! As of May 19th we are allowed to open. Vero & Co Studio will be opening Tuesday, however we will need a couple days to get everything in order with full appointment schedules resuming mid-late week. There will be some new protocols in place which we will be sending out and posting on our website I know that you want to get in as quickly as possible. As you can imagine it is extremely over...whelming to respond to so many clients and there has been a lot of calls/texts and emails. I ask that you please be patient during this time. To be as fair as possible I will be rebooking clients based on when they were cancelled. Group 1- Before Mar 29th Group 2- Mar 30-Apr 5 Group 3- April 6-12 Group 4- April 13-19 Group 5- After April 19 Group 6- Clients that did not have a prior appointment (please request to be put on my wait list) I have made a list and over the next few days I will be contacting you in order of group to book an appointment. I truly appreciate all the amazing support I have received from everyone! I look forward to seeing you soon!

Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!... It sounds like over the next couple days we might have an opening date announced for our industry. I think the media has definitely jumped the gun by throwing out dates without all the information. I’m asking that you PLEASE be patient about getting an appointment, I’m already getting a little anxious with all the calls, texts and emails. I appreciate every single one of you and I know that you’ve been waiting 6-8 weeks... to get your nails done and desperately want to get in. I also want to get back to work as soon as possible but as you can imagine it is extremely overwhelming to respond to so many clients. Especially when I do not have answers at this time. As it stands we are waiting to hear what the safety guidelines will be. I ask that you be patient, once that is announced we will need to make sure we can get the required PPE and set strict procedures in place to ensure we can safely operate. Once that is all done we will announce when Vero & Co Studio will reopen and start rebooking. To be as fair as possible I will be rebooking clients based on when they were cancelled. To say I’m ready is an understatement. I am proud to say that I took 5 different courses in salon sanitation and safety over this last month. I want to assure my clients that when I reopen they have absolutely nothing to worry about. It will be different experience for sure but the new normal will keep us safe! It has been weeks since I have done nails and it’s not the nails that I miss, it all my awesome clients. I always say that on a busy day I feel like I am speed dating my girlfriends. I miss our conversations, your stories and all the laughs, during this crazy time know that I am thinking about you and can’t wait to see you again. Right now its not just our physical health that is important we must take care of our mental health as well. If self isolation is wearing on you an...d you feel alone know that I am here for you if you need to chat. If your kids and husband are driving you crazy I’m also here if you need to vent. I’m no therapist but often I am the person my clients talk to. Know that I am available and you can schedule a FaceTime with me if you need to talk. And of course do not hesitate to ask if you need me to walk you through home maintenance, I’m sure a lot of your nails are in desperate need of some love and I can give you tips to save them, remove them etc...just please don’t stress pick or bite them off!! Now is our time as a community to do what is right! As a service provider and salon owner I made the hard but responsible decision to temporarily close Vero & Co Studio due to COVID-19, this is for the safety of everyone. As hard as it is for small business this virus is very real and we must do our part to protect the health of our community and flatten the curve. If you are still carrying on life as usual I ask that you please follow the orders of the B.C. Health Authority ...and practice social distancing and self isolate. When this is all over I will be working extra hours to make sure I can fix your grown out nails or hook you up with an awesome new set but for now it’s just not worth it. I’m not sure what the timeline is going to be on this so unfortunately I can not reschedule any appointments, As soon as I have an idea I will make sure that everyone that was cancelled will get in immediately! For the next 2 weeks I’ll be self isolating, I really hope you will be doing the same! Please stay safe everyone!! See more
