A recent studio shoot with Terri Maxwell....

One of the things our photography classes focus on is the value of imagination and how to create images from that imagination rather than just taking a picture ...of something. This image was shot on Kalamalka Lake last week. The actual photography took about 20 minutes. The majority of the work lay in just finding the inner tube and the location. An afternoon in the woods with Terri and Presley ( and the pups too.)

This was a beautiful shoot I had the great pleasure of doing yesterday evening. The girls were enthusiastic about creating memorable images and it sure came through in the over 400 pics we did.

I have been offering photography workshops for over 5 years. The workshops range in group size from 1 - 10. Keeping groups sizes smaller allows more time for individual instruction. Photography isn't just about camera settings and technology, it is about light and seeing. The "one on one" workshops follows more of a mentoring format and is very popular.
