Well after being more on time than normal to head out for the horse show today the truck decided that leaving on time would just be silly! So after a bit of truck trouble we are now on the way to AMHS!! yay horse show time!

Well it was busy show but I think everyone had fun! Seeing kids happy with horses after rides is the best part! Lots of laughs, lots of learning, so glad we got to at least show in this crazy year that 2020 has been! Congratulations to all our first time exhibitors on a job well done!

K-Lyn had a fun and successful show this weekend! Especially proud of baby max who is a great lesson horse and now is figuring this showing stuff out! And a big congrats to Prentyss tough first class, but back into the championship to get reserve champion walk/trot with Kinkade! Yay! Tami Britton

Today was a special day! Canalta Squire King turn 32 today! Owned and loved by K-Lyn for 29 years of the 32! Looking pretty good for his age some cake, and Kings favourite Coca Cola!

Last June birthday for a little while at the barn! Morgan Hill Six Shooter Shooter is officially 3 today! We refer to him as baby horse all the time at the barn with all our seniors or soon to be seniors! Horse cookies for his birthday treat today

Another June birthday! TDF Command Performance! Percy is now 17! Anyone that knows Percys knows he overly enjoyed the extra spoiling today, as he wishes he’d been born a lap dog

Second June birthday! KLS Sweet Dreams sugar is 11 today! She got a banana for her birthday treat!

Fifth lesson horse spotlight! KLS Gabrielle aka Gabby who we raised and is 27 years old this year! Nana’s last horse that has had a show career that is too long to list. Third lesson horse spotlight! LV Bo Jangles aka Bo who we have owned since he was 5, and he is 25 this year!! This is our go to teaching everyone to canter horse, even going back as far as teaching Robyn Davies to canter! He has shown some in his younger years classic pleasure and hunter pleasure. Now he is one of our best lesson horses with a tongue that never stops! We’ve decided to pick a lesson horse per day to spotlight. Starting with LV Kinkade. We have owned Kinkade since he was 2 years old, he has shown everywhere from fun shows here in Alberta to Morgan Grand Nationals. Has shown saddleseat, western, hunter pleasure and of course equitation and parade! He even carried the Canadian flag in parade tack in 2006 at Morgan Grand Nationals. Best known for his years as Skye’s equitation mount! Has carried several first time walk/trotter...s into the show ring. He is our go to beginner lesson horse. We had a couple young girls very excited to show him at their first horse show this year and now that is on hold. He is missing all his kids and hopes to see them soon!
