New place beds for the dogs and they are loving them... does your house have relaxed, calm, peaceful dogs or is it full of overly aroused chaos??? it really is your choice to have peace and calm if you want it with the proper training

Today we had the pleasure of doing a training session with a family who has been struggling with 3 dogs. 2 of the 3 are 125lbs plus Saint Bernard's that don't respect personal space, struggled with manners (jumping, constant barking) and lacked obedience. Today we introduced 2 of their dogs to the prong collar and started working on getting these dogs into a much better place. This family is so committed to having better behaved dogs and we have come up with a pretty extensive training program for this. The clip is Mia and her owner near the end of our session. Thank you for trusting us to help you achieve your goals with them. More to come.

Thelma is a 6 month old Bull terrier that has some serious issues that her owner came to use for help with. She has already had a trip to the vets for ingesting clothing, she jumps on counters, gets in the trash, bites her family, doesn't listen, barks at you and on and on. She has a pretty big list of issues that we are going to be addressing with Thelma to get this family the dog they want. She is pretty typical of alot of dogs, 100% affection and zero rules and boundaries.... The picture on the right is at the end of our session working on place, Thelma is in a much better place from a dog who was overly aroused and made bad decisions to totally relaxed and calm. Her and her house mate had never just laid together before so being totally calm and that close was a huge thing for Thelma and she just stayed in command. Welcome to the program Thelma you're gonna do amazing See more

Thelma the bull Terrier spent the day with us. She struggles to be around dogs she doesn't know so we put her to the test with 2 of our dogs. She did great. We didn't let them interact with eachother but used place to allow her to be close to other dogs working on a bit of socializing.

Let's talk about your walk with your dog! Today while out on a walk with my daughter I watched over a hand full of people being dragged around by their dogs. One started dragging it's owner across the road towards us as it's owner yelled it was friendly and just a puppy. Other dogs pulling, lunging or absolutely going mental on the end of the leash except for one elderly gentleman walking a perfectly calm dog. I then watched my daughter walking our 135lb Cane Corso loose leashed in a structured heel not paying attention to any of these out of control dogs. So how can a girl who is 8 years old and more then half her dogs weight have such a great walk...... Training!!! If you're struggling, even if it's just the walk, please find a trainer that can help. You will learn to enjoy walk with your dog and your dog will thank you.

The winter weather is upon us. This brings the mud, slush and snow. Sometimes it's difficult to make those daily walks with your dog/dogs. Using the treadmill for exercise not only works your dog physically but is also a great tool to work them mentally. Kira loves to work on the treadmill just turn it on and away she goes, no leash or anything to keep her on, it's all her wanting to do it and she absolutely loves it.

This 1 year old Lab mix is new to this family and needs some training to say the least. He pulls on the leash so we introduce him to the prong collar and then started his training with the structured walk. This was his very first session and he did great This is the final results from the session, it's a pretty drastic change from the start. Don't keep making excuses for your dog's bad behavior, change it

This second video shows Duke walking with his owner in a much calmer state. With the proper tools and training, Duke and his owner can enjoy their walks together. Duke is in a proper heal and engaged with is owner looking and listening to what is being asked of him. This video is after introducing Duke to the tools so he clearly understood what we were asking of him then we worked on the structured heel. He has one simple rule, hold the heel position, no sniffing, scanning or marking.

This is the typical type of walk we see owners having and struggling with. Wouldn't it be so much nice to just have a nice walk where your dog pays attention and doesn't pull?

Yuko is the second dog we are working with from the sam house as Mia. He is a very nervous, skittish, insecure guy who really struggles with just about everything. One issue this family has struggled with for 5yrs with this dog are the front stairs, they normally have to carry him down the stairs, drag him down them or take him out the back door and around the front of the house. First video is good for Yuko but shows the struggle, after working with Yuko for a bit we got a totally different dog who was doing the stairs with confidence. We could of avoided the struggles of this dog or we help the dog work through the issue building confidence in the process.

Today we started one on one sessions with this 5 month old pup. His family reached out to us for help with recall and walking him. After meeting the dog during our consult is was obvious that this dog ran his families life. He had no structure and no accountability which lead him to make very poor decisions. We worked with this family to show them how to use the tools properly and how to start to implement our training program to create the family dog they desire. In this vi...deo we asked Duke's owner to walk him so we could see where they struggle. #paris #parisontario #parisontariodogtraining #hamilton #guelph #cambridge #cambridgeontario #kitchener #norfolkcounty #brantford #simcoe #dog #bigdogs #dogstagram #dogsofinstagram #dogtraining #dogtrainer #balancedtraining #ontariodogs #canadadogs #prongcollar #prongcollartraining #ecollar #ecollartraining #kidproofk9 #gottastartsomewhere #dedicateddogownersmakegreatdogs
