*Tips for Blondes in the Summer* Everyone’s hair is different and reacts differently. However, there are a couple maintenance things we can do to keep the brass out of the blonde, and the sun damage out of the drains! -Less hot tools, use your natural wave pattern. The wind is going to mess it up anyways - Wash or rinse with cool water. -Shampoo less! Once or twice (or less) a week is a good habit to get into. - Use Purple shampoo when you do wash it.... -Avoid chlorine, and if you can’t then use a clarifying shampoo before you look like Kermit the Frog. - Deep Conditioner and oil treatments are your friend! Strong hair means better toner retention. - Take advantage of the natural trends by getting a few foils in the visible areas instead of a full head of highlight damage. -Book an appointment for just a tone! You don’t need to go through the whole lightening process just to get rid of gold. Take advantage of the sun while it’s here!
