In the end, there was a tie (they were both within 28 Smarties of the total), so we used an online randomizer to select the winner. ... The winners will be contacted shortly. Just in time for Christmas! Guess the correct (or closest) number of candies and take home this Dig and Doug bird feeder! Tickets are $2 each (3 for $5), available at the library until Dec. 12th.

We have a Dig and Doug bird feeder up for grabs! Between this Saturday (Nov. 29th) and Saturday Dec. 12th, stop in to the library to guess the number of candies in the jar. Closest person (by end of library hours on the 12th) goes home with the bird feeder. Second closest gets the candy! Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. Thanks to Dig and Doug Cedar Furniture for the donation!
